Modelling Courses
Under professional guidance, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of free modeling with clay, the various ceramic techniques and the use of glazes. In addition to developing technical skills, three-dimensional imagination is also promoted in spatial thinking. You gain a lot of new experiences, can switch off completely from everyday life and recenter yourself in the creative design process.
Throwing on a Potter´s Wheel
Some people call it “flow” – that wonderful feeling of being one with the material and the movement of growth on the turntable. In the ongoing seminars you will learn the pottery handicraft piece by piece, so that you will soon be able to create cylinders, cups, plates, vases and jugs yourself. All necessary handicrafts are shown and practiced. Further steps follow such as twisting, pulling handles and making snouts and nozzles. You will soon notice that while making pottery you will find an inner balance and center yourself. When you have found this center, the turning movement on the disc becomes easier and easier. You can find out all of this with professional help and learn until your dream crockery is created.
